Once upon a time I was an avid user of Flash, back before Adobe bought Macromedia. I made a handful of videos that circulated on Albino Black Sheep, like this one back in 2006. I can’t draw for shit, so for the most part I adopted a style of animation that some call "kinetic typography".
Fast forward to November of 2022, and we’ve launched an EP that includes a ridiculous song about a suicidal vampire. I figured I could dust off some of those old animation skills and try a new video. It was much more grueling than I remembered, but I did manage to finish… something. Enjoy!
